What size of jobs do you do?

We can do almost any size of job, and have access to various sizes of vans. Larger jobs will have two men attending too. Small jobs are equally welcome!

What type of jobs do you do

Basically we do 3 types of jobs – moving stuff (e.g. moving house), delivering stuff or removing junk/rubbish.

What are your prices?

Prices vary according to volume, weight, distance & location – each job is unique, please contact us for more details. Our prices are very competitive, and generally we can beat any like for like quote from any other professional company. An example – one van full of rubbish removed from a loft (mostly cardboard and wood), loaded from a 2nd floor flat onto our van by two men costs roughly £100 (distance was within 5 miles travel), and we were in and out within an hour.

Are there any hidden charges?

There are no hidden charges. Unlike skips, which may need permits etc, all our quotes are for the full service. We may also ask for a photo of your stuff to make sure we can accurately quote for your requirements.

Are you insured?

Yes our man with a van service comes with full insurance for your goods.

Do you help load and unload the van?

Yes, we will load the van, and unload too. There are of course exceptions – if you stay on the 98th floor of a tower block with no lift, and are moving 12 elephants…we may have to negotiate an increased fee 🙂 *note – we don’t transport elephants.

Is there a limit to travel distance?

This depends on the type of material being moved, and it’s weight. Usually there is no limit.

I regularly sell items on the internet, do you provide courier contract work?

Yes, we can offer discounts for contract courier work.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes, our man with a van service can provide a discount for students and OAPs too, contact us for more details. We can sometimes offer discounts for contract/repeat jobs too.

What’s your cancellation policy

As we’re a local company we try and keep all our customers happy, but please try and give us as much notice as possible if you do need to cancel.

For rubbish removal, is there anything you won’t take?

The following list of items cannot be disposed of (this is purely for waste disposal – obviously some can be transported from A to B without any problems) –
